Delivery and Retruns Terms

Delivery of Goods

1.      Delivery:

a.       Ranks always tries to deliver the goods on agreed time, any delay in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances cannot be deemed as the breach of agreement by Ranks. Ranks cannot be held liable for any consequential losses.

2.      At the time of delivery:

a.       Customers are required to sign the correct number of parcels received from our courier company.

b.      Parcels delivered should be inspected at the time of delivery. 

c.       Correct number of parcels received should be signed from our courier company. Any shortfall or damages must be advised at time of delivery to the courier driver and to us in writing within 7 days of delivery. We shall not be liable for any discrepancy in the number of goods or the condition or quality of such goods delivered if this procedure is not followed.

3.      Delivery Address and unsuccessful delivery:

a.       In the event that you provide us with the wrong delivery address so that delivery cannot be performed, fail to provide sufficient information to allow delivery to be performed at the correct delivery address or the goods cannot be delivered to the correct delivery address through no fault of our own or as a result of a force majeure event:    You will be liable for any redirection or redelivery costs incurred by us to redirect or redeliver the goods to the correct delivery address. We shall not be liable for any costs incurred by you to redirect or redeliver the goods to the correct delivery address.

b.      Where the goods are returned to us, we reserve the right to make a reasonable charge for storage and any associated costs such as insurance or preservation contingencies

c.       If the customer requests the redelivery of the parcel that has been returned back to Ranks due to delivery failure, it will be deemed as a new delivery and customer will be liable for re-delivery charges.

4.      Delivery Shortages:

a.       Any Claim for shortages or discrepancies must be notified to Ranks over the phone on the day of delivery and in writing within 7 days of delivery.

5.      Third Party delivery:

a.       Goods delivered to the third party on customer’s request are entirely on customer’s own risk.

b.      Any claim for the shortages and discrepancies should be only made by customer. At no circumstances the third party is allowed to make any claim.

c.       Customer are required to adhere to the delivery terms (refer to 1, 2, 3, 4)

d.      Customer is required to check all garments before being sent to a 3rd party and being processed



e.      Where you have agreed to collect the goods, the goods should be collected within 3 days from the day the order was placed. Failure to collect the goods within this time will result in cancellation of the order where we give notice to you of such an intention.


f.        You shall collect the goods from our premises as described on the confirmation of your order or such other location as may be advised by us prior to delivery within 3 days of the order being placed.

g.       Any Claim for shortages or discrepancies must be notified to Ranks over the phone on the day of collection and in writing within 7 days of delivery in writing.

Product Specification:


a.       All the measurement provided are the actual measurement of the garment and not to fit.

b.      We may deliver goods with 5% more or less weight or size than the measurement provided.

c.       All colour provided are for guidance only and Ranks reserve the right for slight variation of colour on different batches of product manufacture.

d.      You shall not be entitled to reject the whole of the consignment if there is a variation in size, weight or colour.


1.            You may exercise an option (the “Option”) to return all or any goods under this contract, subject to these terms as a whole and the following procedural requirements:

1.1          You must give notice of your intention to return the goods within 7 days of delivery having been completed;

1.2          Provided that we do not initially deem the goods ineligible for return pursuant to clause 4, we shall then provide you with a return note and returns number. You must include the returns note within the goods to be returned, as well as the delivery note and invoice that were supplied on delivery of the goods;

1.3          You must return the goods within the original packaging in which the goods were supplied. Any goods that are not returned within their original packaging will be deemed ineligible for return pursuant to clause 4.3;

1.4          You must clearly mark the returns number on the outside of the packaging containing the goods; and

1.5          we reserve the right to withhold payment to you in consideration of the returns where the procedure in returns of goods has not been followed, and/or where on receipt of the returned goods we find the goods are ineligible for return pursuant to clause 4.

2.            On exercise of the Option, unless the goods are faulty or not as described within the purchase order, we may charge you:

2.1          A restocking fee the higher of either £20 or 20% of the value of the goods being returned;

2.2          All charges incurred by us during the returns process; and

2.3          In the event of collection of the goods by us from the original place of delivery or such other location confirmed by prior arrangement, a collection fee of £15 per case of goods returned.

3.            In the event of collection of the goods by us, where our carrier arrives at the location agreed for collection and the goods are not available to collect through no fault of our own, you will be liable to pay all charges incurred by us in respect of the attempted collection.

4.            The Option may not be exercised in respect of the following goods ordered:

4.1          promotional, discontinued, specially discounted, bespoke made to order and sample goods;

4.2          worn, printed, embroidered or washed goods or goods otherwise processed by you after delivery has been made; and

4.3          goods deemed by us to be unsuitable for resale. Goods to be returned must be fit for sale by us on their return as they were on delivery.

5.            For the purposes of these terms, any item that has been bought in single quantity is automatically qualified as sample and is non-returnable.

6.            We are not obliged to accept returns where the consideration for the order to be returned would constitute over 5% of the total annual turnover received from you.

7.            No contract entered into under these terms is made on a sale or return basis
